Some background information

GENERAL

AtCyte was originally named MAC-LAB and was established in 1971 in San Jose California. In 1973 the company expanded and moved to Santa Clara California (AKA Silicon Valley). In 1986 the company moved to Albuquerque New Mexico and conducted operations there until 1997 when it moved to it's present location in Durango Colorado. AtCyte is a sole proprietorship with 1 full time employee, 1 part time employee, and various contract employees/consultants depending on current business levels and technical staffing requirements.

OPERATION

Primary business activities are electronic design and engineering services. Principal services we provide are the design of proprietary products or custom industrial control systems that utilize a microprocessor / microcontroller as the core technology. Manufacture of designed products is limited to initial prototype units and small production quantities. Since 1990 AtCyte has expanded use of microcontrollers in dedicated purpose embedded designs (see What We Do ). Applicable SIC# is 8711.

NEW OPERATIONS

At the Durango location we have added limited manufacturing capability and will be able to provide finished product for our clients. This added option will be most helpful for clients with speciality products that have a limited sales volume. This service will allow clients to test market their products extensively before setting up new production facilities.

At the Durango location we have ample room to securely test and do long term monitoring of equipment designed for outdoor operation.
